This album is the score to a video installation piece in a series I started in 2021 titled "The Devonsville Train." For the video, I took shots from eleven different 1970s and 1980s horror films and time-stretched them down to as low as 1% of their normal speed. For the sound component, I did pretty much the same with the sound that accompanied each clip, but also did some additional layering and sound manipulation.

For this second feature, I arranged the shots in such a way as to create a progression that lends itself to allowing a sort of narrative to be inferred by the viewer. I also used a manipulated field recording taken at the beach at Beverly Shores in the Indiana Dunes for "Best Friends" in addition to the sound from the clip itself.

As with pretty much everything I've ever done, headphones are recommended for the optimal listening experience.
